It wasn't like babysitting for him. For most kids his age, when they were asked to babysit, they groaned and moaned and tried to come up with excuses, but not Quil. Well, at least not when Claire was involved. When she was involved, it was all about spending time with her, being there to protect her when her parents couldn't, things like that. Any chance that he got to spend time with her, he would take. Claire was his responsibility, and he knew that, so it wasn't like he minded or anything.

Rhoda was the only being, living, undead, whatever, that he could fully relax around. It was a shocking change from his former life, when laughter had been a constant in his life and in his work, but after his change, after his death all of that changed. Rhoda was the only one that saw that glimpse into what he had once been. At least, for the most part. He'd been known to relax around some of them, sometimes, but it was never nothing like it was when he was around Rhoda. Never. And he could never be nothing but genuine with her. Even if he would have had traitorous thoughts (though none had ever crossed his mind and never would) he would stay. For Rhoda.

She ran. And she ran. Making up for lost time, Maggie wanted to rush and get to the Cullens' home. It was her fault that they hadn't arrived already, really. She'd kept stopping, looking around, and exploring. It was hard for her to focus on just getting to their home when there were so many things that she'd never experienced before, having never left Ireland. She wanted to enjoy their trip, even if their reasons weren't exactly pleasant. She knew that this could turn ugly, and that part she wasn't looking forward to, but meeting with Carlisle and his family? That part she was.

Felix had waited. He had waited for Demetri to come to him, to knock on his newly fixed chamber door. But no knock had ever came. No sound had reached his chambers. He'd spent most of the day there, alone, still sad, still feeling very much alone. The only thing keeping him from regretting his decision was what he had learned from Cauis. Aro had committed a deep treason, one that could not be forgiven. And he had hidden it for far too long. The way that Master Marcus had found out....it had been disgusting.
