ABOUT
Ivan

Ivan. Eighteen. Player of many characters, lover of many games. Role playing has been a hobby of mine for five years now, and to be quite honest, I don't see myself stopping any time soon. I love it far too much. I hail from the mountains of Kentucky, and there isn't much for a Freshman college student to do around here, so much of my time is taken up by role-playing. But, other than the people living in my HEAD, I do make time for the people that I can actually see. I love to party, to hang out, and to goof off. I can often times be found do a stupid dance with a bottle of smirnoff in one hand and a camera in the other. I love to capture my wildest moments on film (or, not film, considering everything is digital these days) and I laugh. I laugh a lot. I'm still a kid at heart, though, and I have a love for all things Pokemon and nineties. I am a bisexual democrat, and yes, I live in a hick town. It's difficult at times, but I make due. But, I won't get into that much, this is my character development journal.

Style

A few stats:

Level of Experience: Five years.

Preferred Platform: IJ & AIM
Style: Threading, though I will venture into scening on AIM and/or google documents. I'm not much for forums, so I avoid those.

RP Type: I tend to play in games with a developed plot, though I will venture into PSLs, as well, depending. I play mature themes and am comfortable with het, slash, and femme lines, and have played all three extensively. I'm also fine playing drug-related scenes, alcohol-related scenes, and sex scenes. I am quite picky about the people I play these types of scenes with, howver.

Plot Duration: Long-term. Nothing thrills me more than developing a nice, juicy plot.
Planning: I'm a 'go-with-the-flow' player. I like to have the basics, but not much more. I'd much rather let things develop and see where they go. After all, it's the characters leading us, right? Not ourselves.

Post Length: A good, strong paragraph at least. I normally don't go over four paragraphs, however.
Point of View: Third person SCENES and first person AIM CONVOS/JOURNALS/RANDOM POSTS.
Tense: Past tense, normally. I am fine with present, however.

Warnings

I have a fucking mouth. See? I love sex scenes, but they don't DRIVE my playing, oh me gee that gets on my fucking nerves. I've been known to flake out on scenes sometimes, but who hasn't? The best way for me to play is threads, so if I cop out on an AIM scene? You've been warned. I can sometimes take a while to reply, hey, life happens. I'm on EST, but I totally don't mind playing with other time zones. They just have to understand that there IS that difference, you know?

Rules/Requirements

The only way I will play rape, incest, or physical violence is with a partner that I know and trust, so before asking me, make sure we know each other and we've been playing together for a while. Please, be of legal age to be writing what you are writing. No one likes the banhammer of the law, right? Also? Please keep things true to the plot, to what was intended. Don't go Sue D=
